Community and Arts Groups
Holy Trinity Church is available for use by your group. We have a theater with a stage as well as a sanctuary. During the warmer months, our beautiful grounds may also be available. There is no charge, but we ask that you make a suggested donation in keeping with your budget. See suggested amounts below.
Artists of all kinds are encouraged to use our space for warm-ups, practice, or recording sessions. We have two grand pianos and a small pipe organ. We know that it can be difficult to find suitable space and we want to help. Please contribute as you are able to help us offset our costs.

Holy Trinity does not charge for use of space, but suggests a free-will donation the equivalent of 10% of your budgeted cost for your program or event, or, if you are selling tickets, 10% of your gross ticket sales. At a minimum we suggest a per diem of: $15 for the Narthex, $30 for the Common Room, $150 for the Sanctuary, and $300 for the auditorium.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE REQUESTING SPACE
By requesting the use of space at Holy Trinity Church you agree to the following.
Use of space. The Vicar of Holy Trinity Church, at his or her sole discretion determines space use. Space is made available on an “as is” basis, and Holy Trinity will not provide staff or supplies unless specifically requested and approved in writing no fewer than 14 days prior to your event. Please arrive on time and leave on time. Members of your group are not permitted to loiter on the premises before or after your event. Members of your event must stay with your event and not wander into or use space not booked by your group, even if it appears unoccupied or unused.
Church staff and equipment. Holy Trinity has a very small staff, and they are not permitted to provide event support. If your group needs technical support, stage, or house management, etc., members of the Holy Trinity and Pied Piper communities may be able to assist you for an additional fee. You or your organization are responsible for negotiating and handling that fee directly with the provider. A staff member is required to be on site to operate any of Holy Trinity’s lighting and sound equipment, and a $50 fee will be charged to you or your organization, by Holy Trinity, for each day of use. This is in addition to whatever fee the operator may charge you or your organization directly.
Keys and access. If necessary, you or your organization will be issued a gate key and a parish house key or key to the sanctuary. If your event is in the auditorium, the fire exit gate must be unlocked for the duration of your event. The key must remain in the possession of the person to whom it is issued and is non-transferable. You may not make copies of the keys. Your keys must be returned at the end of the period of use or other specified time.
Set-up and tear-down. You are responsible for all set up and take down. Space must be “broom clean” upon departure. All trash and refuse must be removed. Any personal items left behind may be discarded. Please note, you may not arrive before your booked start time or leave later than your booked end time to set up or tear down. Please allow for set-up and tear-down time when you book your event.
Loss, theft, or damage. Holy Trinity Church is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of any personal items, equipment, instruments, etc. brought on to the premises by participants or audience members. Your organization may need to supply Holy Trinity with a Certificate of Commercial Liability Insurance. You or your organization are responsible for any damage to the facility beyond normal “wear and tear” or loss of keys.
Children. Children under the age of 18 are welcome at your event, but must be under the care and supervision of their parents / guardians at all times.
Signage. You may post 8.5×11 signs for informational and directional purposes only on the entrance gate to your event, the parish house door, and elsewhere as needed. No other signage is permitted. Your signs must not cover, block, or obscure church signs or other postings. Signs larger than 8.5×11 (including signs displaying the name of the event or organization) are prohibited, unless approved in advance by the Vicar. You must remove all signs and other materials after your event, however, you may post one (or two if the second is a translation of the first in a language other than English) 8.5×11 political, campaign, or event poster on the public notice board in the parish house. Any sign, poster, notice, or materials may be removed at any time by the Vicar, without explanation or warning, at his or her sole discretion.
